My mission is to help growing and international companies in technology, software and service industry to improve and automate their business and finance processes. I also support start-up companies in financial planning and monitoring. As I am familiar with the Finnish accounting and tax environment, my services benefit especially those companies that have a parent or at least one subsidiary located in Finland.

A successful implementation of an effective financial and salary administration in the Finnish operating environment may require the involvement of third-party solutions, which should be evaluated together with the selected ERP solution. Strengthening your ERP project with additional resources helps you stick to the planned schedule and budget.

Adequate financial monitoring is crucial in keeping companies healthy and able to operate with regard to their size and growth phase. I support your company in finding the suitable models, routines and tools to make the financial monitoring as effortless as possible. In addition to that, I prepare financial calculations and analyses as needed.

Orbis Systems logo

Case: Orbis Systems

Orbis Systems Oy deployed the NetSuite ERP system in May 2022. Along with the new ERP system, the company can use the same ERP platform in every subsidiary it has in different countries. During the first phase, the system was deployed in the Finnish parent company.

Finapartner supported the company in implementing the financial and accounting processes in the new system. The support work included planning of the financial administration processes in the system, testing the functionality, testing the user roles, checking the automated accounting of the operational processes, creating user instructions and advising the financial administration personnel in using the system. The consultancy service was produced in cooperation with Rantalainen Oy Botnia, which provided expertise in the accounting in the NetSuite environment for the project.

Finapartner case Oura

Case: OURA

Together with Oura, we developed a documentation describing the operational and administrative processes from the ERP and accounting point of view. The purpose of the documentation was to help the people who work with the accounting and the ERP systems development to easily keep track of how business transactions, automated and manual operative processes as well as administrative processes together with the ERP and business systems contribute to the formation of the accounting data.

Oura, the manufacturer of the Oura Smart Rings, is a strongly growing and international health technology company.

Optomed

Case: Optomed

Finapartner prepared a comprehensive ERP system requirement specification for Optomed in close cooperation with its process key personnel, and supported the company in the solution selection process. The company deployed the new ERP in 2018 and entered the Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange in 2019, reporting finances with the new ERP system. After that, Finapartner assisted the management in the follow-up monitoring of the deployment project until 2021.

Optomed is a medical technology company and globally the leading manufacturer of handheld fundus cameras.

Manna Insect -logo

Case: Manna Insect

Finapartner helped Manna Insect in the financial planning and business modelling during its concepting phase. Finapartner contributed to identifying the salient variables of the financial models and assisted in formulating forecasts and calculations. While preparing the calculations with the guidance of Finapartner, the company improved its ability to manage the finances and demonstrate to investors their revenue potential, business profitability and financing needs. Soon after the financial modelling was completed, Manna Insect raised a financing round from professional investors.

Manna Insect develops and produces solutions to upcycle biowaste to high-protein animal feed.

Case: Moontalk

Based on the profitability calculations and forecasts created by Finapartner for its different business segments, Moontalk Oy was able to start focusing on the segment with the most value and growth potential and raised capital for scaling the business. During its transformation process, the company has turned from an ICT company with a hardware and service sales business model into an SaaS company.

Moontalk integrates mobile phone calls, voice over IP and real-time communication solutions into CRM and ERP processes.

I am a freelancer specialist working towards improving the finance and business processes of companies.
ERP, finance and ecommerce systems and the integrations between them provide numerous possibilities to automate routine tasks and process management. In the last few years, I have focused especially on Oracle NetSuite and how to utilise it in the daily operations of international growth companies.
I have a Master’s Degree both in financial accounting and in industrial engineering and management. I have worked both as an independent contractor and directly in various companies in the fields of financial management and financial accounting, ERP and finance system deployment and development, process optimisation as well as information management.
